1. Acceptance

By using Hunchy (hunchy.io), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The Service

Hunchy is a free social prediction game. You predict outcomes of real-world events and compete on leaderboards. Hunchy is not gambling — no real money is wagered, won, or lost. Points, ranks, and badges have no monetary value.

3. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
  • You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure
  • One account per person — don't create multiple accounts
  • We may suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. User Conduct

Don't:

  • Use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to manipulate leaderboards or game mechanics
  • Harass other users or post offensive content in team names
  • Scrape, bot, or automate interactions with the service
  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data

5. Content

Prediction questions are generated by AI and reviewed by administrators. We don't guarantee the accuracy of question resolutions, though we strive for fairness. If you believe a resolution is incorrect, contact us.

6. Intellectual Property

The Hunchy name, logo, mascot, and design are our property. Your predictions and profile data belong to you. By using the service, you grant us a license to display your public data (display name, scores, predictions) on leaderboards and contest pages.

7. Privacy

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for details on data collection and processing.

8. Availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

9. Limitation of Liability

Hunchy is provided “as is”. We're not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to: incorrect question resolutions, service downtime, or data loss.

10. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your personal data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Swedish law. Disputes are resolved in Swedish courts.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
